Fishing trawler sinks in Vlora, father and two sons are saved, damage over €200,000

 A fisherman on the board of which there were three fishermen, a father, and two sons drowned at noon on Tuesday 3.2 miles from Sazan.

Thanks to the immediate help of another fishing boat and then the coast guard intervention, the three fishermen were dragged by the border police at the Triport Port in Zvernec, media report.

Mezan Mezani, the whole live fisherman, stayed together with his two sons in the water for a few minutes.

Mezani and his two sons have been working fishing for years, but today's situation has been the most difficult they have encountered.

“We had no opportunity to communicate, we stayed like in those films, not in the ship that the ship was overturned, we stayed up. I want to ask for help from the naval force, the Navy because not only for me as a captain, that we have worked for 20 years, but the damage is extremely high over 220,000 euros. But even for other ships, it is a dangerous point, because it is a ship that is simply held by the cords, so it is in the middle of the sea,” said the fisherman.
