 In Albanian football, more specifically in the Second Category, there has been an incident. Tension reigned throughout Elbasan's and Pogradec's main group B match of the week.

Elbasan received a penalty from the referee, and Pogradec's players attacked him as a result. The match was stopped for several minutes as a result of this, and the referee gave one of the players a red card.

Elbasan captain Gava won the penalty, but it's regrettable that violence is so prevalent in Albanian football.

It is worth noting that this is not an isolated case, attacks on referees have intensified in recent months in the Albanian championship.
