Former well-known Albanian footballer Igli Tare, who holds the role of sports director at Lazio, may move to the English Premier League.
British media write that Tottenham has shown interest in the 49-year-old, who is seen as a candidate to replace Fabio Paratici. The latter is facing far from normal situations, due to the fact that he has been sentenced to 30 months of exclusion from Italian football for his involvement in alleged financial irregularities and false accounting at Juventus, Euronews reports.
Based on FIFA rules, the punishment is only within Italy, but if the Italian football federation decides, then the punishment is also applied in Europe. At this point, Paratici would be forced to stay away from football for the next 3 years.
