In Romania, the police have placed two Albanians in handcuffs. They were a part of a group that dealt drugs.

Eight people were detained as a result of the police operation in Bucharest. Strong drugs were distributed by Albanians and Romanians working together, Romanian police reports.

The group brought cocaine and heroin from the Netherlands in loads of 10 to 12 kilograms. The drugs were hidden in cars that were taken to service stations, usually in other countries, where they were given special hiding spots.

After that, the drug was sold and distributed in cities in Albania, Italy, France, Romania, and Italy.

The sophisticated network was formed in 2021, when an Albanian citizen decided to start its criminal activities, according to the investigators. Four additional Albanians then joined the group.

About 10 kilograms of cocaine, half a kilogram of heroin, and approximately 400 counterfeit euros were seized during the operation. The criminal group, which was allegedly formed through the drug trade, was requested to have a modified vehicle and one million euros confiscated by the prosecution..
