We want to make sure that the Albanian community here not only feels safe but also respected here. This is what Prime Minister Edi Rama said in the meeting with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in London. In the first visit to 10 Downing Street, the head of the Albanian government emphasized that just as the British are not all James Bond or Mr. Bean and the Albanians are not characters from "Taken". According to him, Dua Lipa is not just a British singer, but an Albanian immigrant like others who have come here to sing, cook and take care of you."

"To make it impossible to hit criminal networks and avoid innocent people falling into their trap. Just as all British people are not James Bond or Mr. Bean, Albanians are not characters from 'Taken'. Just like the boy comes on a boat, it is not just an Albanian, but a wide picture. Dua Lipa is not just a British singer, but an Albanian immigrant like others who have come here to sing, build, cook, and take care of you."

For his part, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, spoke about the fight against illegal immigration and the return of prisoners.

"Last year we signed a communique to fight illegal immigration and I am satisfied with the progress made in this direction and what more we can do to return the prisoners. Likewise for economic cooperation and strengthening of security", said Sunak.

Prime Minister Rama invited Sunak to Albania and said that "no British prime minister has visited Albania since Churchill".
