In a video circulating on social media, the police officer appears to be trying to stop a 22-year young man wearing a hood and carrying a black backpack on his back.
When the police officer attempts to stop him, the young man hits and knocks the police officer to the ground. What is noticeable is that the colleague comes to the aid of the police officer very late after the city was attacked.
It is not known whether the police were able to arrest the person who resisted and assaulted the police officer in the capital city.
