The "Albanian School" in Switzerland opens a classroom in Feuerthalen, in the canton of Zurich

 The vision of the "Albanian School" in Switzerland (to open as many school points as possible and involve as many students as possible in the teaching hours of the national language) is increasingly not only becoming a reality but also the best example that everyone should follow.

And who better than school education can preserve our Albanian language and culture! In the sense of what we said, we are working and dedicating ourselves as Albanian language teachers here in the diaspora, so we are opening as many school doors as possible for teaching our language. Thus, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, our educational center "Albanian School" in Switzerland opened another class for teaching Albanian language and culture in Feuerthalen, in the canton of Zurich. The teaching will be held every Wednesday by Prof. Isuf Ismaili, in one of the classrooms at the "Stupmenboden" school in Feuerthalen, from 4:00 pm - 5:45 pm.

As usual, every opening of school classes is accompanied by the indescribable joy of students, who, as soon as they take the books in their hands, are distinguished by their smiles, which are special because finally, they are given the opportunity (although they are far from their homeland) to learn their mother tongue.

Students Rioni, Dori, Amari, Ermali, Seiti, Jasini, Mirlandi, Omeri, Uthmani, Mirlandi, Sandra, Nilayi, Leyahi, Medini, Medina, Ahili, and Ajani call on their peers to join them on the path of knowledge. It is worth mentioning that the happiest on this day when we started the lessons in Albanian language were the parents who brought their children to the school yard. They promised to contact other parents as well, with the aim of increasing the number of Albanian students in Feuerthalen and thus having the opportunity to divide the students into groups.

This was a good start, where students had the opportunity to follow the explanations of Prof. Isuf Ismaili on the work and tasks in this trimester, in order for them to quickly grasp the teaching of our language: letters, words, spelling and pronunciation of words, and so these children will have the opportunity to read and write beautifully in Albanian.

Good learning of the Albanian language is the duty of every Albanian who loves his country, his culture and his origins! Therefore, our great poet, the nightingale of the Albanian language, Naim Frashëri, in his work for Albanian students: "Mêsime" wrote like this:

"Language unites the nation, enlightens it, brings it out of darkness, elevates the soul and mind, beautifies the properties, blossoms the consciousness of acquaintances, increases fraternity and multiplies friendship."
