| The project of Buna Bridge connecting Albania with Montenegro |
The Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of Albania, Belinda Balluku, said after the meeting of the government that the law was approved for the ratification of the agreement for the construction of the Buna Bridge, a project agreed upon during the meeting of the government with that of Montenegro.
With a length of 310 meters, this bridge, said Balluku, will significantly shorten the distance between the two countries, helping tourism.
"This bridge will change the entire way of communication between the two countries, which have 34 km of beaches which citizens have to travel for about 1.5 hours for 73 km to access. Meanwhile, with the construction of the Buna bridge, with 310 meters, it will be described in just 2 minutes. It turns out that the investment will reach somewhere around 1.5 billion lek, which will be divided 50 by 50 between both countries," said Balluku.
