The Thumane-Kashar project, the residents of Bëxulla: The work was done in Italy with 'google maps' without field inspection

For several months, the inhabitants of Bëxulla have been protesting against the Thumanë-Kashar road project's development. They continue to gather and block a section of the Rinas road axis, including last Sunday, media say.
The residents' primary concern is the issue of expropriation, as they feel that the price offered for their property is lower than the market value. They assert that the project was developed using Google Maps and was not created according to the actual road in the area. Despite their protests, the residents claim that they have not received any response from the authorities, and the sixth month of the demonstration is coming to an end.

The residents argue that any dwelling affected by a project should be compensated according to market value. They question whether the road passes in front of their flats or over them and suggest that the project's development was done in Italy with Google Maps, which does not reflect the real situation on the ground.

One of the residents stated that they were offered a price of 517,000 ALL per square meter, while the development cost of the project was 570 euros per square meter, which even surprised the mayor of Vora. The residents argue that they do not have any legal obligation to deal with the road, and those who have legal responsibility do not have a clear idea of how the road project was developed.
