 The burial ceremony of Albanian Adem Qorri, who died in Florida, United States about a month ago while saving his son's friend from drowning, was held on this Saturday in the cemetery of Drenas, Kosovo.

The 40-year-old died tragically while rescuing his son's 10-year-old friend from drowning.

Qorri's relatives revealed the details of what happened, saying that their loved one sacrificed himself to save the life of his son's friend.

They said that on Sunday morning, the deceased along with his son's football team, had gone to the Florida beach to celebrate their victory.

As a result of the strong currents, the victim's son and his friend had difficulty and were at risk of drowning.

The victim's son was rescued by the coach. Meanwhile, Qorri managed to save his son's friend, but he himself couldn't get out of the water due to the strong currents.

"They went to the beach to celebrate with the team, his son and a friend went into the water when the current was activated. The coach of the team saved his son, while Adem tried to save his son's friend. He managed to save him, but he couldn't get out due to the strong currents," said the victim's family.
