Albania secures silver medals in the finals of the European Wrestling Championship, which is taking place in Croatia.
The wrestler of Chechen origin representing Albania, Zelimkhan Abakarov won the silver medal in the grand final of the European Championship taking place in Croatia, local media say.
In the 61 kg weight category, Abakarov was defeated in the final 5-2 by Armenian Arsen Harutyunyan.
As for the journey of the Chechen, he triumphed over the German Stechele with a deep score of 11-0, the Ukrainian Markovych 6-2, and the Georgian Phartenadze (4-4).
In the final, the Armenian Abakarov received a gold medal, while Albania settled for a silver medal.
