 On the eve of the electoral campaign for the local elections on May 14, the special envoy of the USA will visit Tirana. Gabriel Escobar will stay in Tirana from April 11 to 13 with a busy agenda, Euronews reports.

It is learned that he will first meet with Prime Minister Edi Rama and President Bajram Begaj, while from the opposition, he will meet with representatives of the official democratic party, Enkelejd Alibeajn, as a commanding chairman.

As expected, there will be no meeting with the head of the re-establishment, Sali Berisha, whom the US has declared non grata. The last time Escobar visited Tirana was in April last year.
