The tourism expert, Gladiola Dona, said in an interview for "Good Morning Albanians" on Euronews Albania that prices this summer in Albania will increase by 20%.

She stated that the increase should be done in a chain, both in the increase of prices and in wages.

"If this increase is general, then all salaries will increase. If a night in a hotel used to cost 100 euros, now it will go to 120 euros. If salaries also increase, there will certainly be an improvement in the well-being of employees. Many changes have been made in hotels," said Dona.

The shortage of workforce in Albania is increasing in all cities, especially in the tourism sector, but not only there, as the shortage seems to also exist in the agriculture and economy sectors.

For this reason, Albania will have to employ shepherds, masons, and farmers from Nepal, Sri Lanka, and India. The shortage of the workforce is one of the main problems facing our country, especially during this period when the summer season is starting.
