"Volkswagen" has become the most preferred car brand among Albanians. Data from the Institute of Statistics reveal that this brand is being purchased more and more, leaving behind "Mercedes-Benz".
In just the first 3 months of 2023, the number of registered vehicles in our country has increased by 8%. In Albania, 14,460 new vehicles have been registered belonging to 276 different brands, Euronews reports.
The "Volkswagen" brand has the highest circulation rate in the country in the category of new road vehicles at 20.4%, followed by the "Mercedes-Benz" brand at 16.3%.
The capital city holds the first place for the number of newly registered vehicles in the first 3 months of the year, followed by Durrës, Fier, Elbasan, and Shkodra.
However, fewer new vehicles have been registered in Dibër, Gjirokastër, and Kukës.
