The Albanian anesthetist who published videos of pregnant women is sentenced to prison

 

 A real scandal was reported on Friday in Tetovo, namely in the Gynecology Hospital, where one of the specialist doctors filmed the women in one of the halls, and even took them out live on social networks, "competing" with another person.

Pëllumb Vela, director of the clinical hospital in Tetovo, the man who denounced the publication of the video on social networks, said on the show Good Morning Albanians on Euronews Albania that the event is scandalous and should not be closed as something small.

He indicated that he had taken the position as director 10 days ago, but having worked earlier in this hospital, he was familiar with most of the staff at the hospital.

"As soon as I saw it, but the fact that it is a registration in gynecology where unauthorized recording is not allowed, I immediately denounced the case. After my report, the person in question was taken to the police. Later, we convened the ethics committee and found serious violations, unethical work towards patients, and unauthorized recordings, we made a decision to suspend him from work. The chamber of doctors will meet regarding this case and it is likely that his license as a doctor will be taken," he said.
