The Albanian farmer Alban Çakalli in an interview with Euronews Albania says that it happens that tomatoes can be sold at very different prices in different cities of Albania since the links from the farmer to the merchant are not respected.

"It happens that a tomato is sold in Berat for 30 Lek while in Tirana for 120 Lek and this happens because it is the links that go and each of those traders or transporters take a certain amount of Lek. This then goes to the cost to the citizens," said Çakalli.
