Albanian involved in a fatal collision on the white lines in Italy shortly after celebrating high school graduation

 Kevin Murataj is the 19-year-old Albanian who tragically lost his life in Italy on the night of May 26th. The young man was hit by a car and fatally injured while crossing the road in the area of Lignano Sabbiadoro, Udine.

According to Italian media reports, the 19-year-old had just left a pizzeria with 8 classmates and 2 teachers when he was struck on the pedestrian crossing by a car driven by a 21-year-old. The serious incident occurred around 11:30 PM. He was immediately transported to the hospital, but the impact had been strong, and he lost his life before reaching the hospital.

The young people were heading to the nightclub to continue the celebration for the end of their high school exams. Kevin Murataj worked as a waiter on weekends while dreaming of continuing his studies at university, a dream that remained unrealized.

Kevin left behind his parents, Alket and Elisabeta, as well as his two younger brothers. His parents have expressed that they do not know the circumstances of the accident, so they are trying not to blame the 21-year-old who was behind the wheel and took their son's life.
