The Publishing Center for the Diaspora informs Albanian language and culture teachers in the Diaspora (candidates) who wish to become part of the state register of Albanian language and culture teachers in the Diaspora that applications will begin tomorrow, on June 1.
Interested individuals must apply for registration and submit the required documentation according to the deadlines specified in the announcement by the Pre-University Education Quality Assurance Agency (ASCAP).
The application period is from June 1 to September 30, 2023.
The criteria that candidates must meet to be registered in the state register of teachers are:
a) To have a degree in the field of education from higher education institutions. Priority is given to teachers with degrees in Albanian language and literature, preschool education, elementary education, history, geography, ethnology, music, and Albanian culture.
b) To be licensed as a teacher according to the legislation of the Republic of Albania, the Republic of Kosovo, or countries where Albanian language and culture teaching programs are conducted in the diaspora.
c) To have been accepted as a teacher of Albanian language and culture teaching in the respective countries.
The documentation that candidates must submit includes:
a) Application form as enclosed in Appendix 1.

b) Curriculum vitae with a photograph following the EUROPASS format, accompanied by the documentation supporting the information in the CV.
c) Copy of an identification document: passport or identity card.
d) Copy of the diploma in the field of education issued by the higher education institution, translated into Albanian and notarized (bachelor's and master's or integrated degree).
e) Copy of the transcript, translated into Albanian and notarized.
f) Copy of the teaching license, translated into Albanian and notarized (if available).
g) Copies translated into Albanian and notarized of certificates and qualifications as Albanian language teachers obtained in Albania or other countries (if available).
h) Document proving that the candidate teaches in Albanian, translated into Albanian and notarized (specifying whether it is a public or private institution, full-time or part-time work), except in cases where this document is issued by diplomatic representations.
