18 Albanian motorcyclists living in Switzerland known as "
Shqiponjat"(Eagles) have made an adventurous journey from Basel to their homeland with occasional stops.
In a Skype connection from Ksamil, which is also the next stop, one of the motorcyclists, Muharrem Avdimetaj, has shown how this rare adventure was undertaken and shared all the details.
"We left on Thursday the 18th at 5 o'clock in the morning from Basel, Switzerland, and our first destination was Trieste and we spent the night. The next day we continued on our way from Croatia, where we stopped somewhere where we spent the second night. Further, we continued the road to Ulcinj where we spent the night. During the trip, we had the opportunity to stop in different places, to enjoy the Croatian Riviera as far as Ulcinj, where we visited and enjoyed the beaches of Ulcinj. There are 18 of us in our group at the moment, we had two more until Kosovo, who have come just to enjoy it and will return by plane. We were 16 motorists and one supporter with a van accompanying us", he said.
