The arrival of foreign tourists in Albania this year seems to have started earlier, giving hope that this will be a successful tourist season. This has been most noticeable in the well-known tourist sites in the Fier region, particularly in the Archaeological Park of Apollonia.
There are hundreds of daily visitors in groups or families who visit the ancient city, its cult objects, and enjoy the beauty of nature during this season.
Even foreign tourists have become more frequent within the city.
Two German tourists who travel by bicycle share their first impressions of Albania and the places they have visited.
"What impresses me the most are the people. They are very polite and open. During our journey, we have shaken hands with many people, and children greet us. The nature is beautiful, and we will see how the trip goes until the end. We would definitely recommend it as a destination to our friends," said Dominik Drexler.
"Yesterday, we arrived in Albania. We started from Greece on our bicycles to reach Fier. The entire journey was on a bicycle. The nature we have seen so far is very beautiful. The Vjosa River was fantastic, and this city also seems quite attractive to us," said Haicom Wrust.
