Lawyer Vjollca Gashi is the Albanian candidate for the Bülach District Court, an institution with a focus on family law and criminal law.
"Because of my special career, from health specialist to lawyer, I have the sensitivity and resilience needed for people in difficult situations.
Comprehensive and well-grounded professional experience from the judiciary and the private sector provides me – a judge specialized in family law – with the necessary tools to enable the optimal resolution of conflicts between individual parties. This, on the other hand, leads to decisions that can actually be implemented in the daily family life of those affected," Gashi said about her candidacy, inviting supporters to vote for her until June 18.

Gashi was born in Dielsdorf (Zürich), in an Albanian family originally from Bujanoc. She has two professions: a lawyer and a medical nurse. Vjollca has a great background as a lawyer in the public sector (court and prosecutor - Staatsanwaltschaft) and in the private sector (lawyer and general secretariat in insurance). Vjollca wants to put her experience and sensibility to work for people in difficult situations.
