The voting process continues in Montenegro, where extraordinary parliamentary elections are taking place. The polling stations opened at 7:00 in the morning and will close at 20:00. In the parliamentary elections in Montenegro, until 17:00, 42.20% of voters have cast their votes, local media say.

The head of the election monitoring center, Ognjen Mitrović, said, "During the ongoing electoral process, 53 reports of irregularities have been submitted. One of the reported irregularities concerns Tuzi, where a member of the election commission left the polling station with a ballot. We are considering the closure of the polling center," Mitrović said.

He emphasized that observers report that some polling stations are not accessible to people with disabilities. According to official data from Montenegrin institutions, 542,468 citizens have the right to vote in these elections.

Fifteen electoral lists of coalitions and parties confirmed by the State Election Commission in Montenegro are participating in the race. The participating parties and coalitions have promised a better life, higher wages and pensions, favorable housing purchases, and increased social benefits. Such promises have dominated the entire electoral campaign. These extraordinary parliamentary elections may put an end to a nearly three-year political crisis in Montenegro, where two governments were overthrown through votes of no confidence.

Two coalitions of Albanian parties are also participating in these elections: the Albanian Forum with the Mayor of Tuzi, Nik Gjeloshaj, and the Coalition of the Albanian Alliance with experienced deputy Genci Nimanbegu. These elections will produce 81 deputies, and the new parliamentary majority will elect the Prime Minister and the new government of Montenegro. .
