Albanian lawyer Eva Buzo has stopped her challenge to swim from the shores of Italy to Vlora.
Local media say that the 36-year-old woman stopped swimming due to health problems 10 miles from Karaburun. A team of doctors is waiting for her, local media say.
The Albanian lawyer had presented some concerns on the way from the salt water as well as being burned by a candle.
Buzo is currently a few miles away from Karaburun in the open sea and the team accompanying her is monitoring her condition.
