The Albanian Ambassador to Canada Ermal Muça is declared "Ambassador of the Year"

 Albanian Ambassador to Canada Ermal Muça has been declared "Ambassador of the Year," the recognition is given by the Professional Development Institute at the University of Ottawa, mainly for organizational skills in the field of public diplomacy for joint projects with civil society and the diaspora.

"I gratefully accepted the Ambassador of the Year award during a ceremony organized on Friday afternoon by the Professional Development Institute at the University of Ottawa," Ambassador Muça writes on his Facebook profile after receiving the award from the leading university in the Canadian capital.

He dedicated the award to "dedicated colleagues in representation, to Alma and many friends in the Albanian community in Canada, for their continuous contribution and support in promoting Albania, Albanian national values, and connections with Canada."

The winners of the "Ambassador of the Year" award are selected by an independent committee based on several criteria, including organizational skills in the field of public diplomacy for joint projects with civil society and the diaspora.

The award was presented by the Professional Development Institute at the University of Ottawa during a ceremony held in the presence of a wide range of Heads of Diplomatic Missions in Ottawa, Canadian authorities, academics, representatives of civil society, and media. Albanian members and activists from all corners of Canada have congratulated the ambassador for the award.
