The latest Range Rover was stolen in 90 seconds in Albania

This is the moment when in the early hours of June 3rd, this "Range Rover" vehicle model 'Evoque' is stolen near Vora.

The time shows 02:46 and the individuals seen in the footage only need 80 seconds to deactivate the alarm after breaking the driver's window and then start the vehicle.

Aware that they are being filmed by security cameras, the perpetrators act undisturbed, as they are disguised with silicone masks similar to those used by Admir Murataj in the daring heist at the airport, an incident where he was killed after an armed clash with the police.

The perpetrators are also wearing gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints.

Although almost 2 weeks have passed, investigators have not yet determined the mechanism used to easily steal the latest model vehicle.

The security camera footage also shows the vehicle with which the perpetrators moved, a white 'Audi A8' without license plates, which follows behind after stealing the "Range Rover".

Euronews Albania has learned that a few days ago, another Range Rover vehicle was stolen in the same way in the Tirana region.

In 2021, seven such vehicles were stolen within a few months in several cities across the country.

During that time, the suspects, believed to be the same individuals, managed to escape a police operation by burning a stolen vehicle near the Tapiza area.

It is suspected that the vehicles are stolen to be sold for use in future criminal events, as well as for dismantling purposes.
