Under the motto "Come and let's dance," 65 musicians from 15 European countries will give a symphonic concert tomorrow in Durrës.
These are the final rehearsals for the largest symphonic concert ever held in Durrës. 65 young musicians from 15 different European countries will come together on July 29 for a grand concert at the Roman Amphitheater, local media say,
"We have gathered here in Durrës for about 10 days to carry out our first orchestral activity with the orchestra of young musicians from Western Balkans. There are 65 young musicians from 15 different European countries who have gathered here. They work together every day, undergo intensive rehearsals to prepare a symphonic program, which we will present for the first time on July 29 at the Roman Amphitheater." - Desar Sulejmani, artistic director of the orchestra.
For the city, this orchestral event holds special significance.
"We are very happy that for the first time, this large orchestra is coming to our city with all the instruments, including the harp, which is a very special instrument." - added Mehmeti.
The members of the orchestra seem equally delighted, most of whom are visiting Durrës for the first time.
"It's a marvelous experience and a great honor to be part of this orchestra. I come from Russia, and it's my first time visiting Durrës. I really like the city and the atmosphere here. I have learned a lot, and we are working hard with the orchestra on a vast repertoire, so I hope we will achieve something beautiful." - emphasized Rezeta Valejeva, a member of the orchestra.
"I am here in Durrës for the first time, and it's also my first time playing in an orchestra. It's a very interesting experience that teaches me a lot of things." - said Bujana Ahmeti, the harpist.
