Prime Minister Edi Rama stated in a conference held today to present the first satellite imagery data of Albania obtained from Albania 1 and Albania 2 that no young person involved in IT should leave Albania or consider the private sector as their only opportunity.

He mentioned that a new package is ready for these young individuals, which not only offers them the utilization of these state-of-the-art systems, according to him, but also enables them to have the highest salaries in the region.

"There is an opportunity here to tell girls and boys who are in the world of technology that today the state is the strongest competitor in the market for wages in this sector. Working in our agencies that deal with these systems is not only a matter for people in the world of information technology but also for engineers, agronomists, and individuals with degrees in fields related not only to digital literacy but also to interpretation and processing. They have the opportunity to become part of the ASIG team and earn better salaries than in any private company.

There is a new package that has been prepared and will soon be implemented so that no young person with knowledge and training in the field of technology sees leaving Albania or the private sector as their only options.

Because we are here to provide you with and guarantee a third opportunity, which is the most competitive opportunity today and the most optimal in the years to come. Those who work for the Albanian state to maximize the use of all these excellent systems will be paid better than anywhere else in the region and certainly better than anywhere else in the private sector," said Prime Minister Rama.
