Albanian journalist Aida Topalli said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the arrests of politicians are something to be congratulated by Special Anti-Corruption Structure (Albanian: Struktura e Posaçme Anti-Korrupsion). However, according to her, yesterday's mega-operation that led to the arrest of a prosecutor, businessman and police officials deserves the most attention.

Topalli said that the work of the Special Prosecutor's Office seems to be intense as long as they managed to arrest their colleague.

"Let them arrest as many politicians as they want, but whenever people who are supposed to fight crime are arrested, the issues are always more serious and the work should be congratulated many times more. From what we know and what we are seeing, SPAK will not only not rest this summer, but will exceed the expectations we had for it. It took this prosecution the first years to make exactly these calculations and these organizations that it is finalizing at this time," said Topalli.

The journalist relied on her sources when she said that other politicians will fall into the hands of the National Bureau of Investigation and will be arrested by SPAK.

"This year will end with the most sensational arrests that have ever happened," Topalli concluded..
