Two cryptocurrency accounts in Tirana, worth 135,000€, are seized, the Albanian from Kosovo is wanted

 

 A total of 60,665 euros obtained and two cryptocurrency accounts worth 135,000 euros have been seized. Consequently, the administrator from Kosovo of a subject involved in money exchange by utilizing virtual and other wallets has been declared wanted. Additionally, a 22-year-old employee of this cryptocurrency-related subject has been released without charges.

Police Notification:

The police operation codenamed "Crypto" has been finalized following proactive investigation methods.

The operation was conducted by the Section for Economic and Financial Crime Investigation in collaboration with the Cyber Intervention Section, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the General Court of First Instance in Tirana.

The administrator of a subject involved in money exchange by utilizing virtual and other wallets has been declared wanted.

An employee of this subject has been released without charges.

A total of 60,665 euros obtained from this illegal activity, as well as two cryptocurrency accounts worth 135,000 euros, have been seized.

Specialists from the Section for Economic and Financial Crime Investigation, in cooperation with the Cyber Intervention Section under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the General Court of First Instance in Tirana, as part of their ongoing work to detect and strike criminal activities, following a thorough investigative work using proactive methods, have organized the encoded police operation "Crypto." Within this operation, a 48-year-old citizen residing in Kosovo has been declared wanted.
