The UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Commission has decided to fine the Albanian Football Federation with the amount of 21,250 euros due to the incidents that occurred during the Euro 2024 qualifying match between Albania and Moldova, played at the "Air Albania" stadium on June 17, 2023.

The financial penalty resulted from issues caused by the behavior of the fan group "Tirona Fanatics," who ignited flares during the match, causing disturbances and entirely avoidable situations, local media says.

The Albanian Football Federation urges the fans to be more responsible during the support of the National Team at the stadium.

"The Albanian Football Federation takes this opportunity to appeal to all Albanian fan groups and supporters to be more responsible and avoid creating incidents that may lead to financial penalties, not only for the National Team but also for Albanian football.

At the same time, we invite all fans and football enthusiasts to support the National Team by demonstrating civility and responsibility, adhering to the rules, and respecting the opponents," FSHF (Albanian Football Federation) announced.
