Zelimkhan Abakarov is the gold medalist for Albania in wrestling. During the "Polyak Imre & Varga Janos Memoria" tournament taking place in Hungary, the naturalized Chechen as an Albanian managed to win the gold medal in the 61-kilogram weight category.
Abakarov defeated Ossimzhan Dastanbek in the final. The final match was undisputed for the athlete representing the red and black colors, as he dominated his opponent on the mat, Albanian Wrestling Federation reports.
