Italian Premier Georgia Meloni will visit Vlora on Monday, Euronews Albania reports.
In a preliminary statement it was said that she would arrive by ferry, then there was talk of her journey on a private vehicle.
So far, the reason for the visit is unknown, but the Premier was invited by her counterpart in Albania, Edi Rama, and it is a private visit.

Meanwhile, tourism in Vlora has reached high peaks. Residents are vacating their homes to offer to holidaymakers for a fee as everything is fully booked until the end of August.
