 Another fantastic result comes from Albanian weightlifter Kreshnik Leka.

Weightlifter Kreshnik Leka was declared world champion in the snatch style at the World Championship held in Wieliczka, Poland, media say.

The director of the Teuta multisport club successfully lifted 113 kg in the first attempt, 117 kg in the second, and 119 kg in the third attempt.


In the clean and jerk style, Kreshnik Leka lifted 137 kg in the first attempt and ranked fourth in the overall standings.

In the Masters World Championship, Leka, who is also the president of the "Albanian Weightlifting Masters" Association, competed in the 45V Masters category in the 102 kg weight class.

This is the second gold medal in a short time for Kreshnik Leka, following the one at the European Masters Games held in June.
