"I really liked the beautiful castle with a marvelous landscape, and our visit was very interesting. Before we left Italy, we looked at some guides for the most interesting places to visit, and Porto Palermo was one of them," expressed an Italian tourist.
"I'm from the Netherlands and I'm visiting Albania for 9 days. Today, I visited Porto Palermo and the castle, and it was breathtaking, truly fantastic. I hadn't heard or read about it before. I saw it on Google Maps and decided to visit. I would recommend this place to other travelers," said a young man.

The castle is a gift from Ali Pasha to his favorite beloved, Vasiliki. The history of their love and their age difference attracts foreign visitors the most.

"The castle was impressive and beautiful in terms of its history, which was built to fend off attacks, and the love story behind it, as he built it for his wife, Vasiliki," said a young man.

"I also really liked it. The way they had designed it back then and how it has withstood all these years is very interesting. Let's say I found it impressive that his wife was 17 years old and he was 74, but it was fascinating to see different cultures and how Albania is," said a girl.
The Castle of Love is visited by an average of 150 tourists per day, mainly Italians.
