Sunbeds range from 30,000 lekë to 500 euros in Ksamil and Saranda, the operator comments on the course of the season

 

 Arben Çipa, a tour operator who operates in Vlora and Saranda, stated in an interview for Euronews Albania that this year's tourist season is very successful and diverse with tourists from all around the world.

According to him, the novelty lies in the young age of the tourists and the increase in tourists from Western Europe, which has brought a change in the colors that have enriched tourism in the south.

Çipa emphasized that the prices of beach lounges in Ksamil, as the most sought-after area, range from 30,000 lekë to 500 euros per lounge.

"I think this reality needs to change, the legal framework should be examined so that public beaches remain as they are and not be seized, as holidaymakers will come for the sea and end up in pools. These are necessary choices to ensure the survival of a tourist destination. The prices in Ksamil, as the most demanded area due to overcrowding, have resulted in price increases, but this won't help with the impressions that will be conveyed by the tourists later," said Çipa.
