In a television chronicle broadcast on the Italian channel "Canale 5," an analysis of the growth in the influx of Italian tourists choosing to spend their summer holidays in Albania has been conducted. The renowned media outlet highlights the key factors that have made Albania a preferred destination, including the Tirana Airport, competitive prices, and stunning coastlines.

One of the main points emphasized is the fact that Tirana Airport offers services in Italian, making communication and orientation for tourists easier in the country. This has contributed to an increase in tourists' trust in the country's tourism infrastructure.

Affordable prices are another factor that has made Albania a preferred choice for vacations. Compared to neighboring countries, prices in Albania are much lower, encompassing accommodation, food, and various tourist services. Some Italian tourists report being able to secure their flight tickets, hotel accommodations, and a car rental for a reasonable sum of 150 euros. Even camping options are attractive for some tourists, as a tent with 2 sunbeds on the Durrës coastline costs only 5 euros.

Italian journalists have interviewed tourists who confirm that restaurant prices and seafood products are very reasonable, providing a good taste experience without damaging their budgets too much.

Among other things, the chronicle also presents the coastline of Kavajë, where Italian tourists have headed to enjoy the marvelous white sandy beach.

Moreover, the Italian reporter states that in the last two years, the number of Italian tourists in Albania has experienced a significant increase. Statistics show that in 2022, the number of Italian tourists was over 70% higher compared to 2021, indicating a noticeable surge in interest towards this emerging holiday destination.
