The conflict is ongoing in Ukraine, while vacation activities are happening in Albania.

These occurrences are evidenced by statistics provided by the Ministry of Tourism regarding the influx of Russian and Ukrainian tourists during the initial six months of the year.

To be more precise, Albania saw a total of 23,640 Ukrainian visitors and 8,150 Russian visitors up until June 30th.

When compared to the first half of the previous year, the number of Ukrainian tourists has surged by 103%, while the count of Russian tourists has experienced a slight decline.

The figures for Albania suggest that the armed conflict on Ukrainian soil hasn't deterred citizens of both nations from traveling for leisure purposes, even when considering travel to other countries.

The accessibility of routes in western Ukraine and the lenient approach of Western regions toward Russian tourists appear to have played a role in the outflow of tourists. Conversely, in the two eastern states, a substantial drop in visitor numbers has been observed.
