Ylber Ramadani transfers to the Italian Serie A. This is the most significant move of the summer concerning Albanian footballers. The National Team midfielder will play with Lecce in the top-tier football league beyond the Adriatic Albanain coast.

The official announcement came from the Apulia-based club on social media. The deal was finalized based on the 27-year-old player's desire and negotiations that lasted for several weeks with Aberdeen.

"Lecce Club announces that it has reached an agreement with Aberdeen for the transfer of footballer Ylber Ramadani. After medical visits, the Albanian player will join the team," writes Sportitalia

Ramadani made a big step in his career after just one season in the Scottish Premier League. Since his transfer from Hungarian club MTK Budapest, he became one of the key players for Aberdeen, playing 44 matches during the last season.

Lecce will pay around 1.4 million for Ylber Ramadani's acquisition, and the Scottish team will also benefit from 10% of the value if the midfielder is sold during his adventure in Serie A.
