Prime Minister with a technical mandate in Montenegro, Dritan Abazović, said that he plans to grant Montenegrin citizenship to Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, as Kosovo media reports.

Regarding Novak, Abazović stated that Djokovic is "a great fan of Montenegro."

"He is a big admirer of Montenegro, often stays there, what could be better than coming together with people who share unwavering views. It's easy to inspire others to follow their example, even if he is unreachable. In general, I think that sports help us a lot to overcome some of the difficulties we face, whether political or economic, much more easily. My full support to people who are a global brand."

"They are not just a brand of Serbia, nor of Montenegro; they are global brands. I think they have equal respect in the Philippines, in the USA, in Africa, and, of course, in the countries they come from," he emphasized.
