This is Gramoz Palushi. Born in Kukës, he had emigrated to Greece for a better life. On September 4, 2004, Albania was playing against Greece at "Qemal Stafa" stadium. We won 2-1, defeating the recently proclaimed European Champions of 2004, Greece.

Albanians celebrated everywhere they were, and undoubtedly, the diaspora felt it more deeply. Even on the island of Zakynthos in Greece, Gramozi was celebrating.

A group of Greeks attacked him from behind, stabbing him. When he went to the hospital, the medical staff did not treat him as they should have and left him unattended for a long time, justifying it by saying he wasn't insured.

The initial perpetrator of the murder was sentenced to life imprisonment, but later, the appeal reduced it to 22 years in prison. Gramozi died while celebrating Albania's victory against Greece. He was only 20 years old.
