Serbian terrorists in the north of Kosovo before the attack near the Monastery of Zveçan |
The Kosovo Democratic Party MP
Hisen Berisha was invited this Monday to Euronews Albania, where he commented on the attack by Serbian terrorists against the Kosovo police.
Berisha raised questions about how all that weaponry found by the police had entered so deep into Kosovo's territory.
He emphasized that it is KFOR's responsibility to maintain a secure environment and control the border.
"How did they manage to penetrate the terrain?! We assume that it was a weakness of the Kosovo police, and they penetrated, but the question arises as to how it is possible for all that military machinery, all that weaponry, and uniformed troops to enter such a deep and not be noticed by KFOR. KFOR has the duty to secure the environment and prevent penetration at the border. How is it possible that they came, settled, and deployed all that weaponry for 100 fighters?! It cannot be done in 2-3 hours overnight. I have my experience in organizing attacks and in the Battle of Koshares for 2 consecutive months, we deployed the weaponry inside the territory, where we planned to conduct the war. In peaceful circumstances, where everything is controlled, where KFOR is present with ground and air control mechanisms, how is it possible that all this weaponry was penetrated?!" - said Berisha.
