| Jeff Bezos' yacht in the Port of Durrës |
The super-luxurious yacht of billionaire Jeff Bezos has anchored in the Port of Durres this morning.
The largest sailing yacht in the world, the "Koru," which boasts three masts, each towering 70 meters high, is a 2023 creation with an estimated value of $500 million.
Sources indicate that the reason for the arrival of Bezos' superyacht in Albania is the supply of 170,000 liters of diesel.
Measuring 113 meters in length and flying the flag of the Cayman Islands, it has docked at berth number 4 of the Port. The yacht has stopped in Durres for services and will later continue its voyage towards Italy.
This visit adds to the growing list of maritime traffic in Durres this year, with 257 tourist yachts and 21 cruises having stopped at the port during this period.
