Miroslav Lajčák in a joint speech with Aleksandar Vučić (archive) |
Former Inspector General of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA), Burim Ramadani, "has announced" the "downfall of Miroslav Lajčák," the European Union's envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
Ramadani wrote on Facebook that a "scandal" may erupt for Lajčák because, according to him, "he has continuously played into the hands of Belgrade."
A scandal will bring down Lajčák. The scandal that may affect Lajčák and his team will permanently remove him from mediating the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. Lajčák has continuously played into Belgrade's hands through the methods and capacities at Vulini's disposal," wrote Ramadani on Facebook.
We recall that the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stated that on Thursday in Brussels, there was "a clear positioning of the mediator against Kosovo" and that in the meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, he was exposed to "a scenario" by the European Union envoy, Miroslav Lajčák.
"They have gone too far in undermining Kosovo's future," emphasized Kurti at a press conference, where he appeared together with his deputy, Besnik Bislimi.
Kurti stated that Vučić and Lajčák were coordinated, as reported by Gazeta Express.
"In the trilateral meeting, I was exposed to a scenario that Mr. Lajčák seemed to have designed earlier," said Kurti.
