The Prime Minister of Kosovo, also the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, addressed the members of his party at today's General Council meeting held in Pristina. In front of the attendees, he stated that they have discovered weapons worth over 5 million euros and reiterated the request for terrorists who left Kosovo to be extradited to face justice, Euronews reports.

Kurti mentioned that the terrorist group had come with their own scenario, which was successfully thwarted by the Kosovo Police, resulting in the elimination of three terrorists, the arrest of several others, and the ongoing pursuit of those who fled, as reported by KosovaPress.

The Prime Minister expressed that the Kosovo Police has now established security and peace in the northern part of our country and distributed over 100 food packages to meet the basic needs of the Serbian residents living in Banjska.

Kurti, thanking the citizens of Banjska for their calmness, emphasized that no civilians were injured or harmed during the police operation.

Regarding border protection, Kurti mentioned a commitment that the Kosovo Security Force will not go there, so they are requesting that this vacuum be filled by NATO forces.

Kurti stated that Kosovo has the lowest crime rate in the Western Balkans, unlike Serbia where crime is high. He mentioned that Kosovo will always outshine Serbia because "we have Afrim while they have crime."
