In front of the Central Police Station in Pristina, people are expressing their condolences for the Policeman Afrim Bunjaku, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty today.
To honor his memory, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, along with members of the government cabinet, participated in a candlelight vigil.
During a press statement, Kurti denounced the attack as an act of terrorism and emphasized the brutal manner in which the policeman was killed.
"We gathered here to offer our heartfelt condolences to the family of the fallen policeman. By lighting this candle, we pay tribute to the courageous and selfless Afrim Bunjaku, whose actions have reshaped Kosovo as a state of law that does not yield to criminals or terrorists. We met his wife and three children, as well as other relatives who share our grief for the loss Kosovo has suffered today. I extend my gratitude to the ambassadors of our friendly nations who joined us in this tribute. Glory to the Approach.
