President of the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), Armand Duka, will now also hold the position of Vice President of UEFA, becoming the first Albanian to reach such a high position in the hierarchy of European football, as FSHF reports.
The decision was made today at the UEFA Executive Committee meeting, which precisely elected President Duka unanimously to the position of number two in European football governance. A decision that comes naturally considering the significant contribution of the President of the FSHF over the years and his excellent experience in football management, both domestically and now in Europe.
Another important vote of confidence for the number one in Albanian football, who just a few months ago was elected for the second time as a member of the UEFA Executive Committee at the 47th UEFA Congress held in Lisbon, Portugal.
In these elections, President Duka achieved a record by ranking first in terms of votes, as the most voted, being elected with a total of 45 out of 55 votes and thus gaining the trust of delegates from many major European federations for the second time.
