The Pyramid of Tirana from above, where Future Tech is taking place |
Yesterday, Future Tech was developed, the first technology fair in Albania, where leading technology companies in Albania participated. Events, conferences, and key sessions were held during this fair, local media say.
Vodafone Albania has created some of the most downloaded applications in the country, such as My Vodafone and JUTH app, a meeting place for hundreds of thousands of Albanian youth. It takes pride in a series of successful technology implementations in projects like Smart Agriculture and eBiznes, as well as within the framework of the Social Contract, such as in the case of Brightsky, an application to assist girls and women victims of gender-based violence, and Tirana Ime, a platform to help the residents and tourists of the capital.
The services, platforms, and assets that Vodafone Albania has developed and continues to develop in support of businesses in Albania were presented at the afternoon of this fair, during a meeting organized by Vodafone, attended by representatives of key companies in the country, partners, and collaborators over the years.
"I believe that in Albania, we have everything we need to confidently move towards the digital future: fantastic talents and a number of leading technology companies. Digitization is not an isolated event, but a continuous journey. And as a leading technology partner, Vodafone is here to support businesses every step of the way," said the General Director of Vodafone Albania, Balazs Revesz.
Revesz's words were further supplemented by Brunilda Isaj, Business Director at Vodafone, who stated that today we should not just talk about technology but about how companies like Vodafone Albania will assist businesses through technology. "We want to be the brand that has absolute leadership in the market to offer connectivity services and that has digitized society and businesses," said Isaj.
