 A month after the terrorist attacks in the north of Kosovo, in Banjska, Zvečan, targeting the police units of the Republic of Kosovo, where police officer Afrim Bunjaku was killed, through a fundraising campaign, Albanians serving in the US police uniforms affiliated with the Albanian American Law Enforcement Association in the US, via GoFundMe, have managed to raise $60,000 for the family of Afrim Bunjaku, the police officer killed in Banjska-Zvečan, Kosovo.

Today, at the premises of the Consulate of the Republic of Kosovo in New York, in the presence of the Consul General - Ambassador Blerim Reka and his staff, a ceremony was held to hand over the $60,000 check.

This check was handed over to the family of the hero Afrim Bunjaku by several members of the blue uniforms in New Jersey & New York, as well as the founder of the Albanian American Law Enforcement Association in the USA, Elton Shametaj, presented to the General Director of the Kosovo Police, Mr. Gazmend Hoxha.
