President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, was a guest on TV Prva this Sunday, where he addressed numerous media criticisms and accusations from his political opponents.

Vučić expressed his discomfort with the way opposition party leaders are portrayed on posters, particularly focusing on Pavlo Grbovic, the leader of the Free Citizens Movement.

"They attack me for having unattractive lips, claiming that I've done something to my lips. It's my mother's fault that I was born this way. It's a genetic matter. They accuse me of being Fahri Musliu's son. On this occasion, I'd like to clarify that my father's name is Angjelko Vučić, not Fahri Musliu," stated Aleksandar Vučić, as reported by Slobodna Bosna.

Fahri Musliu is an Albanian journalist who, according to Slobodna Bosna, once worked in the same place as President Vučić's mother, Angelina Vučić.

Musliu told Danas that he did not want to comment on Vučić's mention of him, as he did not engage in defamation and such baseless accusations. "Let the Serbs and Albanians enjoy these absurdities because they have a habit of involving themselves in slander and the lives of others," Musliu stated to Danas.

He further expressed his dismay at politicians and journalists who propagate falsehoods and slander for personal gain without considering the emotional harm and offense it may cause to those they mention.

Previously, following media reports that he was Aleksandar Vučić's biological father, Fahri Musliu denied the allegations. "I don't know Aleksandar Vučić. His mother was a colleague of mine, but we had nothing more than the fact that we worked together and were colleagues. Such statements are mere speculations," Musliu clarified, as reported by Slobodna Bosna.
