Ernest Muçi towards Monaco?

 

 The long-awaited moment for Ernest Muçi seems to have arrived. One of the greatest talents produced by Albanian football is very close to making a giant step in his career by moving to one of Europe's top 5 leagues. The print media reports that the French club Monaco is ready to pay a whopping 15 million euros for the services of Legia's star, local media say.

With this transfer, Legia breaks its own record, and there's also a 'celebration' in Tirana as the white and blues will cash in a remarkable 1.5 million euros, a record for Albanian football, surpassing the sale of Xhuliano Skuka to Metz for 1.4 million euros.

Tirana retained 10% of the transfer rights when it sold Muçi to Legia for 500,000 euros in 2020, and it seems this has been one of the best decisions ever made by the club's management. The transfer of the 22-year-old player to Monaco has been a colossal effort by his agent Shkumbin Qormemeti, in collaboration with Jorge Mendes, the agent of well-known footballers, where Cristiano Ronaldo is at the top of his client hierarchy.
